Jack Green

Jack started training 79 years ago, in 1923, as a delivery boy and printer's devil.  Subsequently, he moved up to setting type and operating presses.

In 1936, having acquired a desire to run his own show, he set up a letterpress printing shop in East Oakland, naming it the Jack Green Printing Co.  The fast developing trend to offset printing influenced him to sell the the letterpress firm and go into lithography.

He started the business - Lithograph Reproductions - in 1947 with a single office duplicator.  We've come quite a way since then, thanks to the good help of family, co-workers, and many fine customers.
